The challenge

On the occasion of  World Environment Day, the Disseny Hub wanted to have a new ephemeral signage to communicate messages of good sustainable practices to the users of the building, and decided to implement the  CIBICO system, a winning micro-project of  BIT Habitat Proactive City 2021 by Naifactory Lab.

The solution

We applied our CIBICO circular signage system CIBICO using coffee and orange peel waste from the Sauleda cafeteria, located inside the building A range of different colours were created with this waste to produce the supports, which were then engraved with laser technology  in the Ateneus de Fabricació de Barcelona, thus avoiding the use of ink. These posters are fully biodegradable and can be recycled or composted when they need to be replaced.
