Design that returns to nature

Naif Lab was born from a personal and professional transformation.
After more than 20 years working in design -and 15 dedicated to ephemeral spaces- we spent a season on a beach in Brazil where nature filled everything: dolphins on the shore, calm light… and, even so, waste arriving daily.

That contradiction made us ask the question that changed our course:
how can design create beauty without generating waste?

We decided to return to Barcelona and started researching new materials from organic waste. What started as an intimate search became Naif Lab, a studio that is also a material design laboratory where we create resistant, expressive and compostable circular biomaterials at the end of their useful life.

Today we accompany brands, cultural institutions and interior designers who are looking for more responsible material solutions. We have collaborated with Mango, IKEA, Barcelona City Hall, São Paulo City Hall, museums and studios that want to explore a new language where sustainability, design and emotion work together.

We believe in materials that tell stories and in design that gives value back to nature.
