Context

For its first edition, the Blend BCN Festival sought to incorporate sustainable actions that reflected its commitment to responsible innovation. They contacted us to design the interior signage for the event.

Challenge

To create a visual communication system coherent with the festival’s graphic identity, using 100% natural materials and processes with a low ecological footprint, without renouncing the visual expressiveness of contemporary design.

The solution

Based on the graphic image provided, we developed a new production technique for the CIBICO® biomaterial, mixing the colors of its palette in an organic way.
The result was unique and vibrant pieces that captured the spirit of the festival and visually integrated with its identity.
The modular system allowed us to engrave the information directly on the surfaces, avoiding the use of inks and ensuring its reuse in future editions.

Value generated

The intervention turned the signage into an active part of the visual experience of the event, demonstrating that sustainability can also be a contemporary graphic language.
