THE CHALLENGE

AMBIT, the innovation hub cluster for home and contract furnishings, organizes the award ceremony for INTERIHOTEL 2023, recognizing the most innovative projects in the contract and hospitality sector. They are seeking a trophy proposal aligned with their interest in sustainability and have commissioned us to co-design the solution for the pieces.

THE SOLUTION

The final design is inspired by the idea of contrast in solidity and lightness, materialized in the encounter between two radically different materials: a lightweight and translucent disc pigmented with Maresme cochineal, engraved with the name of the awardee, levitating above a raw Ulldecona stone base, showcasing all the tectonic expressiveness of this material.

The result is a simple and poetic dialogue between innovation and tradition, two fundamental values for the future of the Cluster’s sector.
