BIOMATERIAL WORKSHOP – INNOVA WEEK 2023

THE CHALLENGE

We are tasked with organizing an activity to showcase biomaterials during the development of Innovaweek in Barcelona, hosted at the offices of BIT Habitat in Ca L’Alier. This event promotes urban innovation through actions that aim to reflect on how we currently live and how we envision living in cities

THE SOLUTION

The “Panot de Flor” has become a symbol of Barcelona, both as a functional solution for public spaces and as an iconic image of the city. To encourage reflection on the materials used in cities, we propose a workshop where participants can create their own “Panot de Flor” using organic waste.

The result is a palette of textures and tones from unique materials, all speaking the same language: the excitement of experimentation and the desire to build a more circular future for our cities.
